Mussers' Bed and Breakfast is located in the former New Providence General Store in the charming village of New Providence. The store dates back to the early 1800s and was built in the federal style.

We offer two suites: The Storekeepers' Quarters & the Old Post Office. Click the links at the left to see descriptions & photographs of these large, bright great rooms, each containing a full kitchen with sitting and dining areas. Especially popular is the bedroom of the Old Post Office suite that features beds on three different levels, including a king-size lofted bed that overlooks a Lancaster County farmscape. Each suite offers a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Each morning enjoy a hot, homemade breakfast; let us know in advance if you prefer organic, vegan or any other special foods. If we know in advance, we will be happy to accommodate special dietary requests. For a real Lancaster County treat, you might find our homemade apple butter on the breakfast table and honest-to-goodness homemade pretzels with complimentary afternoon beverages.

We are located just a few miles from Strasburg and within several minutes drive of most Lancaster County & Pennsylvania Dutch country attractions. The outlet malls, Sight & Sound theater, and the Strasburg Railroad, for example, are all a short, 10-15 minute drive away.

Our bed and breakfast is open year 'round.

We currently are not accepting credit cards but feel free to use your personal or travelers check.

We can accommodate two parties of up to five people each, but because of the small stairways in this old home, our bed and breakfast is not well-suited for toddlers or persons with walking limitations. Because of our allergies, we're sorry that we cannot accomodate smoking guests or pets.
